American first family of football returned to television last night… WELCOME BACK Taylor Family!

DirecTV in association with NBC premiered season 4 of Friday Night Lights, and it looks like they have captured the magic of the pilot. Season 3 was all about endings and it looks like Season 4 will be all about new beginnings with the re-birth of East Dillon High School and they East Dillon Lions.

Since Friday Night Lights doesn’t air until next summer, this is all I’m going to say about it, but the season premiere is equal parts heartbreaking and exciting and I can’t wait to see where this season takes us.
